Miami, FL – Argentinian entrepreneur Néstor Miotti has become a rising success in the United States after transforming a simple churro recipe into a booming gourmet business. At 33, Miotti moved to Miami in 2019 in search of economic stability and quickly discovered an opportunity in the dessert market.

A Bold Bet on a Unique Product
Before emigrating, Miotti worked as an administrator in a tech company in Argentina with no background in food service. When he arrived in the U.S., he tested several Latin desserts—flan, tres leches cake, and frozen churros—but faced heavy competition. Instead of giving up, he doubled down on a family churro recipe and turned it into the foundation of a new gourmet concept.
Gourmet Churros With a Latin Identity
From his food truck in Doral, Miotti offers creative versions of the classic Latin churro, including dulce de leche, Nutella, Oreo, ice cream, and sprinkled options. Thanks to their flavor, freshness, and presentation, demand skyrocketed. Today, he reports selling around 20,000 churros per month, operating only five hours per day.
Sustainable Growth and a Loyal Customer Base
Miotti explains that his food truck receives around 100 customers daily during its short workday. He also offers family trays of 14 churros for just $10, a strategy that has built strong customer loyalty. His expansion includes two additional points of sale, signaling a clear growth plan.
Innovation Rooted in Tradition
According to Miotti, choosing churros was a strategic move:
“There was a lack of awareness about churros here, and I saw the opportunity,” he explained. Instead of competing with common Latin products like empanadas, he opted for something distinctive with cultural value.
Beyond business, the move to Miami was about providing security and opportunity for his family. “Moving to another country is like starting life all over again,” he said.
A Story of Resilience and Reinvention
Néstor Miotti’s journey highlights the power of creativity, discipline, and authentic Latin flavors in the U.S. market. His brand proves that with passion and perseverance, even a traditional dessert can become a thriving business.
This combination of tradition and innovation has transformed the churro into a full gourmet experience with broad appeal.
