Argentinian Founder Builds Churro Empire in Miami
Miami, FL – Argentine entrepreneur Néstor Miotti left a secure career in Argentina to build something new and ambitious in the United States: a churro brand that’s now gaining traction and planning expansion.

From a Career in Tech to a Churro Startup
In 2018, Miotti decided to leave behind more than a decade in the IT industry. Motivated by a desire to give his family more stability and opportunity, he and his wife Noelia moved to Miami with their three children. “Migrating is like being born again,” he has said, reflecting on the challenge and promise of their journey. iProfesional
A New Business Built from Scratch
Once in Miami, Miotti started a small factory producing frozen Latin desserts — flan, tres leches cake, and churros. But as the pandemic began, he recalibrated his model: the food factory pivoted, and he launched a food truck. His goal? Reinvent the churro. iProfesional
He positioned his churros as a gourmet product: using a family recipe, he offers options filled with dulce de leche, Nutella, or other creative combinations tailored for Miami’s customers. iProfesional
A Strong Growth Trajectory
Miotti reports opening a food truck in Pembroke Pines and welcoming approximately 100 customers during his daily five-hour shift. The average sales volume: about 20,000 churros per month according to his projections. iProfesional
He has not stopped there. Miotti says he is developing plans to open physical storefronts. Among those, a location in Midtown Miami is in advanced preparation, along with the possibility of launching a franchise model. iProfesional
The Emotional and Strategic Side
For Miotti, the decision to emigrate was about more than business. He and his family sold everything in Argentina to fully commit to his dream. “We sacrificed everything we had, but that commitment gave us stability and the chance to build something meaningful,” he said. iProfesional
He also stresses the importance of learning the system: “Here, you must learn the rules. Every day is a lesson; every action counts.” iProfesional
